FAQ

It can be conducted over the phone or in person (location to be decided beforehand); It is a way for me to judge your level and goals and for you to ask as many questions as you wish.

How does the free consultation work?

No. Even though I do have some experience teaching children under 10, I do not offer tuition at Primary level. I can help your teenage son or daughter through their exams. I also have experience teaching adults, which I thoroughly enjoy, be it to help revive some distant memories from school, or to make you discover the language from scratch!

Do you teach all ages?

This will depend on where you live. I am based in North London, and at the moment I am not offering classes in my own home; so I can travel to your home, office or a public place such as a café. Depending on the distance, travel charges may be added.

Where do the classes take place?
What's the minimum time to work with you?

There is no minimum time; some students just need a little boost in confidence, or extra help whith exams approaching; some adult learners wish to acquire basic French for a holiday, or keep up with their knowledge of the language: it's all up to you!

Again this will depend on your needs and goals. For tutoring, I endeavour to use a mix of the school's materials and my own resources; for adult lessons, I can advise on books, dictionaries and grammar books to purchase. I will provide a number of resources but for effective learning, personal study materials should be used in parallel.

Are materials provided?

Classes start at £25 an hour, but fees may vary depending on your location, level, and how many lessons you would like to book. Contact me at helenecesar@hotmail.com for more information!
